New York–based The Tommy Hilfiger Group struck a deal to acquire majority control of Tommy Hilfiger Japan Corp. from Itochu Corp. for an undisclosed amount. THJC has been the exclusive licensee of Tommy Hilfiger–branded products in Japan since 1996, when it was founded.
