Steve & Barry's Liquidates
After 20 years selling discounted merchandise, Port Washington, N.Y.–based retailer Steve & Barry’s announced plans to close its remaining 173 stores and will sell off approximately $250 million in merchandise at steep discounts. The beleaguered retailer, which was acquired in August by two investment firms, has already closed 97 stores.
