Gramicci Heads North
Agoura Hills–based outdoor- and lifestyle-apparel manufacturer Gramicci inked a Canadian distribution deal with Recreation Outfitters Inc. The Vancouver, B.C.–based company has been distributing outdoor-apparel labels for more than three decades, working with brands such as Deuter, Diamir, Scarpa, Cloudveil, Hestra and Movement. In addition to its Vancouver headquarters, the company has showrooms in Toronto and Montreal. ROI will handle all of Gramicci’s Canadian accounts. In addition, Gramicci President Marty Weening noted in a company statement that ROI’s new sustainable-apparel division, Organic Outfitters, dovetails with Gramicci’s new apparel line, Greenicci, which is made from organic and recycled fabrics.
