Alternative Heads for Outside Lands

Atlanta-based T-shirt maker Alternative is teaming with Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival for the event’s Aug. 22–24 run in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.

The music and arts festival will feature a variety of activities, including interactive attractions, performance artists, art installations and six music stages that will feature more than 50 bands and musicians, including Radiohead, Tom Petty, Jack Johnson, Beck and Wilco.

Alternative will provide T-shirts for the festival and host an interactive photo booth at the event. The company will also set up a temporary store on the festival grounds where it will showcase its eco and organic products. In addition, Alternative will post photos, highlights and interviews from the festival each day on its Web site, www.alternativeapparel.com.

Alternative was founded in Atlanta in 1996 by Greg Alterman. The company distributes its products across the country and around the world and maintains showrooms in Los Angeles and New York.
