More Charlotte Russe Execs Leave
There are several vacancies in Charlotte Russe’s executive office.
After the company’s chief executive, Mark Hoffman, abruptly retired on July 20, two more top executives are stepping down.
Patti Johnson, chief financial officer, and Patti Shields, vice president and general merchandise manager, announced on Aug. 1 they would be leaving the company, effective Aug. 14.
Temporary Chief Executive Leonard Mogil will take over the chief financial officer spot until a new person can be hired.Meanwhile, Edward Wong, executive vice president and chief supply-chain officer, was named chief operating officer.
The departures come after Charlotte Russe, a mall-based retailer headquartered in San Diego, announced a dip in its third-quarter earnings and lowered guidance for the fourth quarter.
The company’s stock has been trading slightly above its 52-week low of $9.90. —Deborah Belgum
