New York–based private-equity fund Monomoy Capital Partners L.P. purchased the assets and operations of Redcats USA’s Missy Group of catalog and Internet retail from the Redcats Group Inc., a subsidiary of French conglomerate PPR S.A., owner of Gucci, the Printemps department stores and other luxury properties in Europe. The new company will be renamed the Women’s Apparel Group LLC and will include the Chadwick’s, Metrostyle and Closeout Catalog Outlet brands.
