Claiborne to Cole
Kenneth Cole is stepping down as the long-time chief executive of his company, Kenneth Cole Productions Inc., handing over the reins to Jill Granoff, executive vice president of direct brands at Liz Claiborne Inc. At Liz, Granoff oversaw development of Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand Jeans and Kate Spade. Cole will stay on as chairman and chief creative officer of the company.
