New Stores For Prana
Vista-based active-lifestyle brand Prana plans to open its first retail stores in Santa Clara, Calif., and Boulder, Colo., in 2007. Prana worked with San Francisco–based design firm Gensler to create a prototype store concept that will convey Prana’s “commitment to innovation and sustainability.” The 2,075-square-foot Santa Clara store is located in the Westfield Valley Fair Mall. The much-larger Boulder store will include approximately 3,200 square feet of sales space and a 2,800-square-foot showroom. Prana was purchased by New York–based Liz Claiborne Inc. in 2005. Earlier this year, the activewear company purchased technical outerwear label Scapegoat, with plans to launch a line of technical outerwear under the brand Scapegoat by Prana.
