Going Global
Surfwear maker Hot Tuna, whose U.S. headquarters are in Costa Mesa, has a new chief executive. Niels Anders Juul, a native of Denmark, was named recently to the top spot. Previously he was managing director at Los Angeles–based Von Dutch, in charge of overseeing global brand development. He also worked on growing the brand through distributors, licensing agreements and worldwide retail expansion. At Hot Tuna, Juul will also be overseeing global brand development and managing the company’s worldwide operations with offices in London and Sydney, Australia.
