Gerber CAD Training at FBI

Incubator agency Fashion Business Inc. is offering a six-week course in pattern design using Gerber Technology’s Accumark 8.2 system Oct. 27–Dec. 1 at the FBI Resource Center in Los Angeles.

The sessions will take place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will be taught by Rosa R. Hildebrandt, who has more than 15 years of experience as a patternmaker. She is a trainer for Gerber as well as Tukatech and OptiTex systems.

The workshop will cover pattern input and Accumark explorer as well as all menu items, including measures, notches, grading and plotting. Participants are required to have computer and pattern-making knowledge. The cost of the program is $540 for FBI members and $640 for nonmembers.
