L.A. Spectacular
With a crew of celebrity supermodels including Heidi Klum and Karolina Kurkova, lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret hosted its annual runway show on Nov. 15 at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood to showcase its brand.
The fashions on the runway highlighted the fantasy element of lingerie with theatrical designs that recalled a Ziegfeld Follies production. Styles were accessorized with elaborate wings or embellished with a myriad of Swarovski crystals.
Victoria’s Secret has been holding its annual show for the past 12 years and this year returned for the second time to Los Angeles, where the celebrity quotient on the stage of the Kodak rivaled that of the audience. “Desperate Housewives” actress Eva Longoria and “Heroes” actress Hayden Panettiere were among the guests, while British pop group The Spice Girls performed, as did musicians Will.i.am and Seal, who shared the stage with his wife, Klum.—Alison A.
