The Jimmy Choo label—known for its high-end shoes, handbags and accessories—has reached an out-of-court agreement with a London retailer to destroy thousands of handbags similar to the “Marin” club bag by Jimmy Choo. High Street clothing store Warehouse is being forced to destroy thousands of bags considered similar to the Jimmy Choo design. The Jimmy Choo bag sells for about $1,300, and the Warehouse bag was selling for a little more than $40. Warehouse officials said they immediately withdrew the bags when they were alerted to the design similarity.
