D&A Partners With CFDA
Boutique contemporary trade show Designers and Agents has partnered with the Council of Fashion Designers of America to showcase CFDA members at its New York and Los Angeles editions. As part of the collaboration, D&A will gift booth space to two CFDA members per market. For Spring 2008, New York–based designer brand Gemma Kahng and Twinkle Jewels showed at D&A in New York in September and then made their West Coast D&A debut in October under the new partnership.
“We’re the only trade show involved with CFDA, and I think we share a sense of synergy,” said Barbara Kramer, cofounder of the show, adding that the CFDA is taking a marked interest in the Los Angeles fashion world.—Erin Barajas
