The Los Angeles Fashion District Business Improvement District has several shopping programs rolling out for the holiday season.

Formed in partnership with Urban Shopping Adventures, the BID is hosting the “2007 Holiday Shopping Tours & Seminars” tour and lecture series, created to help shoppers navigate the retail boutiques and wholesale showrooms in Los Angeles Fashion District.

Beginning on Nov. 17, the weekly series includes tips for holiday decorating and shopping for apparel, accessories and gifts. There are three tours for sample-sale shopping within the district’s wholesale showrooms, and all tours come with gift bags for the attendees.

A portion of the proceeds from the tour benefit Para Los Ninos.

The holiday tours are part of the “Find Your Fit” tours series, a partnership between the Los Angeles Fashion District BID and Urban Shopping Adventures, and held throughout the year.

The Los Angeles Fashion District encompasses 90 blocks in downtown Los Angeles and serves as the hub of Los Angeles’ apparel industry, catering to the wholesale, retail and residential communities, with resources for apparel, accessories, textiles, flowers and more.The L.A.
