Hong Kong Looking for Emerging Designers
Organizers of Hong Kong Fashion Week are searching for new fashion designers to participate in the International Designers Runway Show to be held during the Spring/Summer 2008 trade fair. Fashion week runs Jan. 14–17 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The four-day event, held twice a year, is a mix of runway shows, seminars and more than 1,000 apparel-factory trade booths.
In order to participate in the International Designers Runway Show, a designer’s label has to be less than 10 years old and currently selling in at least one store, with at least 10 looks to show.
Designers interested in being included in the fashion show should e-mail their bios and/or a press kit and six digital images of their collection to elsweet.rufino@tdc.org.hk.
