David Loren Expands Private-Label Business
Former Max Studio and BCBG executive David Loren has launched a private-label business to augment his branded business sold through the Beverly Hills–based David Loren Collection.
The company recently completed several major orders, including one with an international specialty retailer that has more than 3,100 stores. Loren said the company wished to remain anonymous but also said the stores will roll out the line in September in the United States, Canada, Japan and other Asian countries.
“Private label is a major part of our business plan, and we are very excited to expand our private-label sales with a retailer that has not only a strong U.S. but also a global presence,” Loren said.
Loren’s branded lines include David Loren Collection, David Loren Studio, David Loren Beverly Hills and David Loren Dress collections sold through the Home Shopping Network and other retailers. The company, which launched a year ago, manufactures in Los Angeles, Mexico and China and produces dresses and sportswear.
