Catch a Rising Star
Designs by Otis College of Art and Design students will be on exhibit and for sale May 24 to June 10 at Lisa M. Berman’s Sculpture to Wear gallery in Santa Monica, Calif.
Created under the mentorship of designers such as Behnaz Sarafpour, Oligo Tissew’s Christopher Enuke, Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa, Betsey Johnson, Red Carter, Bob Mackie and BCBG Max Azria, the pieces range from swimwear to over-the-top eveningwear.
Select pieces were shown on the runway in May during Otis’ scholarship benefit and fashion show. Prices for the designs range from $250 to $2,500, and 85 percent of the sale proceeds will be handed over to the students.
