AE's Mall World
Warrendale, Pa.–based retailer American Eagle Outfitters is producing a 12-episode comedy series called “It’s a Mall World” for broadcast on the company’s Web site (www.ae.com) beginning in August. Three mini-mini episodes of “It’s a Mall World” will appear during the broadcast of “The Real World, Sydney” on MTV this summer. The complete five-minute episodes will be exclusive to the AE Web site. The live-action series, directed by “Heroes” star Milo Ventimiglia, will follow the lives of several characters who work in retail stores in a mall, including a young woman who works as a greeter in an American Eagle store.
