Wulff and Pony Show
Pony International LLC named Kevin Wulff chief executive officer of the San Diego–based athletic-lifestyle brand. Wulff is a veteran of the athletic-footwear business who was previously president and chief executive officer of American Sporting Goods. He has also held top spots at Nike Inc. and the Women’s Tennis Association. Wulff is replacing Jim Stroesser, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities. Pony International was acquired last year by Mill Valley, Calif.–based Infinity Associates LLC and Hong Kong–based Symphony Holdings Ltd. The two companies bought Converse Inc. in 2001.
