L.A. Fashion Week Fall '07: Mike Vensel
Publisher/photographer/fashion show producer Mike Vensel wasn’t content to showcase other designers at the debut of his latest project, Kitten Fashion Week. On March 15, Vensel showed his eponymous line on the catwalk at The Standard Downtown.Made exclusively from cotton jersey in white, red and black, Vensel’s always-short and skintight offerings ranged from body stockings to teeny bikinis and micro-mini tube dresses. Hoodies, stiff cap sleeves and monochromatic mini corsets added structure and interest to Vensel’s collection. —Erin Barajas
