Rachel Pally at FIG Dallas
Los Angeles designer Rachel Pally on March 17 will be the guest designer for an event kicking off Fall Market Week at the Fashion Industry Gallery center in downtown Dallas.
Pally will greet buyers and will be interviewed by Shannon Hori, news anchor of CBS’ Dallas–Fort Worth affiliate, starting at 5:30 p.m. The event will also include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and live music from the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing Arts. FIG’s “Figlets,” college fashion majors and FIG interns, will wear identical Rachel Pally dresses during her appearance.
The Los Angeles native is known for injecting “casual elegance” into West Coast fashion.
She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where she majored in geography and minored in dance. She uses many characteristics of dance—such as fluidity, grace and expression—in her designs.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Simpson, Mischa Barton and Heidi Klum are among her celebrity fans.
