Western Hemisphere Manufacturers to Meet in California
The American Apparel Producers’ Network, an Atlanta-based nonprofit group of manufacturers that make clothing in the Western Hemisphere, is holding one of its geographic summits on the West Coast this year.
The meeting, from March 11–13, will have a host of panels on various subjects, from industry mega trends to the pains and gains of technology implementation. Speakers include Carlos Arias, president of Guatemalan jeans maker Koramsa; Jeff Marine, president and chief executive of Los Angeles Tshirt company JEM Sportswear; and Aji Patel, chief information officer of the BCBG Max Azria Group Inc., also in Los Angeles.
The three-day event will be held at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel in Santa Monica, Calif.
