FIG Dallas Names New Retail Manager
Ashley Gage has been named retail-development manager for the Fashion Industry Gallery (FIG) wholesale center in Dallas.
In her newly created position, Gage will spearhead FIG’s expanded buyer outreach effort, which includes making personal visits to FIG’s growing customer base of high-end specialty stores throughout the Southwest, while introducing new stores to the venue’s offerings, which include contemporary apparel and accessories, said director Shelli Mers.
“We’d like to build on our great buyer relationships, and think there’s no better way to do that than with personal visits,” explained Mers. “We look forward to the opportunity to introduce new stores to our venue, because buyers who shop FIG simply rave about it.”
Gage previously was general manager of New York–based XYZ Total Home and was retail-development marketing manager for decorative accessories at the Dallas Market Center, for which she traveled extensively throughout the Southwest.
