Sole Tech to Move to Web-based Transactions

Orange County, Calif.–based Sole Technology, known for its Etnies and Es footwear brands, is moving its sales transactions to the Web, using a new remote software application developed by Denver-based CenterStone Technologies Inc.

When the system, called iVendix, goes live later this year, Sole Tech’s sales force and retail accounts, which total about 2,000, will be able to place orders, check inventories and track orders over the Internet 24/7.

Sole Tech’s senior director of information technology, George Bock, said he expects iVendix to become a big time saver for the company. “We will be able to leverage our existing infrastructure for EDI and our [ERP] environments in order to deliver a solution to our reps, distributors and ultimately our dealers at half the time and cost,” he said.

Sole Tech joins North Face, Vans, the VF Corp., Pearl Izumi, O’Neill Clothing and other companies that have signed on to use the system. For more information, visit www.centerstonetech.com.—R.M.
