Jones Shuffle
There are changes afoot in the women’s sportswear division of New York–based manufacturing giant Jones Apparel Group Inc. Susan Metzger was promoted from president of sales and marketing of better sportswear to chief executive officer of the company’s women’s better sportswear division. Susan A. Rieland has been promoted from chief merchandising officer of bridge and lifestyle sportswear to chief merchandising officer for all women’s sportswear, which includes the Jones New York, Anne Klein and Nine West brands. Jones veteran Ronald Harrison has come out of retirement to serve as the company’s executive vice president of corporate quality and production. Douglas Means was promoted from executive vice president of corporate supply chain and logistics to executive vice president of production for the better sportswear divisions.
