Blair Joins Varvatos
New York–based John Varvatos Enterprises Inc. named Rebecca Blair president of the company. She will report to company founder John Varvatos, chairman and chief executive officer, who currently holds the title of president. Prior to joining the company, Blair was vice president and general manager of sales and merchandising for Juicy Couture, a division of Liz Claiborne Inc. She has worked for more than 17 years in fashion retail, wholesale and merchandising for companies including Chanel, Prada, TSE and, most recently, the Gucci Group, where she was president of Sergio Rossi. John Varvatos Enterprises Inc. became a partner of the VF Corp. in 2003, when VF acquired Nautica Enterprises Inc.
