VF, Eagle Creek Deal Done
Greensboro, N.C.–based VF Outdoor Inc., a subsidiary of VF Corp., completed its acquisition of Eagle Creek Inc., maker of travel gear, including accessories, luggage, daypacks and other products. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, although VF announced that it expects the Eagle Creek business to add approximately $30 million to 2007 revenues. Eagle Creek will continue to be based in Vista, Calif., and founder and President Steve Barker and Executive Vice President Ricky Schlesinger will both remain in their current positions.
