New CEO for TJX
Framingham, Mass.–based TJX Companies, operators of 826 T.J. Maxx and 751 Marshalls stores, named long-standing company board member Carol Meyrowitz chief executive officer. Meyrowitz will continue to serve as president of TJX’s board of directors. She has served on TJX’s board for more than 20 years. In addition to T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, TJX operates Home- Goods, HomeSense, A.J. Wright and Bob’s Stores.
