Guess Fetes 'Movies Rock'
Los Angeles–based manufacturer and retailer Guess? Inc. teamed up with the Condeacute; Nast Media Group on Nov. 29 to host a bash celebrating quot;Movies Rock,quot; a television special dedicated to the connection between music and film. The pre-party, held at Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles, was a precursor to the quot;Movies Rockquot; event, which was held Dec. 2 at the Kodak Theatre.
Decorated to look like a film set from Hollywood's golden era, the former cathedral was transformed into a playground perfect for Rita Hayworth, Grace Kelly and Marilyn Monroe.
Boudoir vignettes featured models posing in glamorous gowns while Guess chiefs Paul Marciano, Maurice Marciano and Carlos Alberini mingled with guests.
Starlets Regina King, Stacy Keibler and Olivia Wilde were among the guests. —Erin Barajas
