Lucy to VF
The VF Corp., which has been on a buying spree lately, said it has completed its previously announced purchase of Lucy Activewear Inc. The executives at Lucy, based in Portland, Ore., will remain, including Chief Executive Mike Edwards. “With VF’s extensive resources, Lucy can take its customer experience to a new level in innovative product offerings, additional stores and outstanding customer service,” Edwards said. Lucy, founded in 1999, is sold through 50 of its own retail stores and online. Its revenues are approximately $57 million a year.
