New to Ashworth Board
Carlsbad, Calif.–based golf lifestyle manufacturer Ashworth Inc. has named Eric S. Salus to its board of directors, bringing the total number of directors to nine. Ashworth recently adopted a resolution to increase the number of directors from eight to nine in order to appoint Salus. Shareholders must approve the appointment at Ashworth’s 2007 stockholders meeting. A longtime retail veteran, Salus has held several executive posts at Federated Department Stores, including serving as president of Macy’s Home Store, president of Bon Macy’s, executive vice president of Macy’s Home Store and Cosmetics, and executive vice president of Macy’s Home Store. Before joining Macy’s, Salus was with Dick’s Sporting Goods and May Department Stores.
