Back in the Gap
San Francisco–based retail giant Gap Inc. announced that Gary Muto, a 19-year veteran of the company, has been named president of Gap Adult and Gapbody. Previously, Muto headed up Gap’s Forth & Towne retail concept, which the company is shuttering. Forth & Towne stores, which targeted women aged 35 and up, will be closed by June, according to the company. Tom Wyatt, the previous president of Gapbody, has been named president of Gap Inc. Outlet, which includes Gap Outlet stores and Banana Republic Factory Stores.
