Princess Brides
The Disney Co. is partnering with Los Angeles–based bridal designer Kirstie Kelly for a line of Disney princess–themed wedding dresses under the label “Kirstie Kelly for Disney’s Fairy- Tale Weddings.” The collection bowed at the recent New York Bridal Fashion Week. The gowns will be retail priced between $1,100 and $3,500, and a “Maidens” bridesmaid dresses collection is in the works, as well as a “Jewels” line of coordinating accessories. Inspired by Disney characters Ariel, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine and Snow White, the dresses will feature fabrics including organza, chantilly, chiffon, satins and tulle trimmed with lace, ribbons, crystals, pearls and embroidered beading.
