Electronics, Accessories and Swim
Electronics, fashion accessories, underwear and swimwear shared space at the recent China Sourcing Fair at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, which drew 43,000 buyers, representing a 17 percent increase over last year’s show. Retailers including Carrefour, Decathlon, Samsung and Sears were among the buyers in attendance at the April 12–15 show, organized by Global Sources. The China Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components attracted the lion’s share of attendees (30,041 buyers from 142 countries) and ran side-by-side with the Fashion Accessories and Underwear & Swimwear shows, which drew 13,717 buyers from 108 countries. Among the fashion brands exhibiting were BCBG Max Azria, Benetton, Gap, Louis Vuitton, Marks & Spencer, Wal-Mart, Hanes Brands, Quiksilver, Speedo and Victoria’s Secret.
