Gaylord Joins GMAC
Longtime financial executive Fred K. Gaylord has joined the Los Angeles office of GMAC Commercial Finance as senior vice president and senior business development officer for GMAC’s commercial services division West Coast region.
Gaylord’s experience in the asset-based lending industry spans more than 30 years with institutions including Chase Manhattan Bank, CIT, Bank of America, Regions Bank and, most recently, Woodland Hills, Calif.–based Continental Business Credit, where he was senior vice president in the new business and marketing department.
This year, Gaylord will serve as the 2006–07 chairman of the Commercial Finance Conference of California, a chapter of the Commercial Finance Association. His other professional affiliations include the Rotary Club of Los Angeles, Town Hall Los Angeles and the Textile Association of Los Angeles. He serves on the board of the City of Hope’s professions, finance and apparel auxiliary.

Among the services GMAC CF provides are assetbased lending, equipment finance/leasing, structured finance, factoring and supplier early-payment services for middle-market clients in several industries, including apparel and textiles. Loan facilities range from $1 million to $350 million. The firm has offices in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Poland and the United Kingdom. —Alison A. Nieder
