True Religion to Relocate, Expand
True Religion Apparel Inc. is relocating its corporate headquarters from Los Angeles to nearby Vernon, Calif., in August.
Company executives signed a five-year lease to occupy a new, 119,000-square-foot building at 2263 E. Vernon Ave. The company currently occupies a 30,000-square-foot building.
True Religion also plans to build a 30,000- square-foot design center within the Vernon building. The expansion comes on the heels of the company’s sizzling True Religion denim business.
“We will now be able to better accommodate expected growth from both departmentstore and specialty-store customers in the U.S. and abroad,” said Chief Executive Officer Jeff Lubell. “This facility will also support the further development of our retail strategy and infrastructure.
“We also look forward to having much-improved facilities to support our design team as they develop new product and pursue brand licensing initiatives.”
