Warnaco Hires New Swimwear President
New York–based apparel giant Warnaco Group Inc. has hired Paula Schneider as president of its designer swimwear division. Schneider, who previously was president of Laundry by Shelli Segal, a division of Liz Claiborne Inc., replaces Kathy Van Ness. Schneider will report to Roger Williams, president of Warnaco Swimwear Group, and be responsible for all aspects of design, development, merchandising, marketing and sales for Warnaco’s Ann Cole, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Nautica and Catalina brands.
