Louboutin at Barneys
French shoe designer Christian Louboutin drew a crowd of longtime customers and young fans to Barneys New York in Beverly Hills on May 11, where Louboutin personalized and signed his famous red sole shoes.
According to Louboutin’s representatives, a “few hundred” women waited in line for nearly two hours to see the shoe designer doodle hearts, bows and personalize names on a pair of lace-up canvas espadrilles that retailed for $345. Some fans brought their favorite pairs from home to be signed on the arch of the red sole. —Rhea Cortado
