Gerber Releases New CAD, Marker Software
Tolland, Conn.–based Gerber Technology has released an updated version of its computer- aided design software AccuMark and a new professional edition of its AccuNest markermaking software. AccuNest is integrated with AccuMark.
AccuMark Version 8.2 is designed to save additional steps in navigation, pattern making and marker making. It features a new Pattern Wizard function that enables users with minimal skills to generate graded-costing patterns from a library of pre-defined garment types and finished garment-size specifications.
The new release was developed to create high-yield markers automatically—with little or no training required, allowing users with minimal marker-making skills to successfully use it.
Operators submit the marker requirements to the software and the UltraQueue job management component automatically makes the markers. Any user on the AccuMark network can submit markers individually or in batch mode.
Customers can download the updates from GERBERnet at www.gerbertechnology.com.
