Perry Ellis Extends Nike Swim License
Perry Ellis International has announced that it has extended its Nike Swim license through 2009. The updated agreement incorporates men’s, women’s and children’s swimwear, performance and casual swimwear products, apparel and swim equipment. The Miami-based manufacturer has hired a new design team to work on the Spring 2007 collection and will be offering an expanded catalog of products for club and school aquatic programs, said Seth Ellison, president of Perry Ellis’ swim division.
Perry Ellis’ Irvine, Calif.–based office, which houses the company’s action brands, Redsand Apparel and Gotcha International, will expand to become the company’s West Coast base for its swim and action sports divisions. —Erin Barajas
