Rhodes, Mohlere In at Perry
Miami-based Perry Ellis International Inc. has named Gail Rhodes senior vice president of its women’s swim division, which includes the JAG, Jantzen, South Point, Zuma Beach, Original Penguin and Perry Ellis labels. Michelle Mohlere has been named vice president in charge of design and merchandising for the division. And Kim Wagenaar has been promoted to vice president of the company’s men’s swimwear business. Rhodes and Mohlere join the company shortly after Perry Ellis purchased the JAG label from their former employer, Beach Patrol. Rhodes had been with Beach Patrol since 1991, serving most recently as executive vice president of sales for all of the company’s brands. Mohlere was executive vice president of merchandising for all Beach Patrol brands. Prior to joining Beach Patrol, she was vice president of women’s swimwear for Warnaco’s Speedo label.
