DVF in at CFDA
The Council of Fashion Designers of America has named Diane von Furstenberg as its next president, succeeding Stan Herman, who served as head of the organization for 15 years. Von Furstenberg’s term begins in October. The organization also named 18 new members, including California designers David Meister; Trovata’s Jeff Halmos, Sam Shipley and John Whitledge; and Johnson Hartig, who co-designs Libertine with New Yorker Cindy Greene.
