Whitman Leaves Gap
San Francisco–based retailer Gap Inc. announced that Meg Whitman, president and chief executive officer of eBay Inc., will not return to Gap’s board of directors when her term ends in May. Whitman has been on the board since 2003. After she leaves, Gap will have 12 board members, including eight members from outside of the company.
