BDS to Acquire Channel Partners
Irvine, Calif.–based retail consultant BDS Marketing Inc. has reached an agreement to acquire rival Channel Partners, based in Gilbert, Ariz., for an undisclosed sum.
Both companies provide services to retailers covering training, merchandising, sales and technology. BDS provides additional services, including hosting seminars and providing market intelligence, visual presentation, product feedback and point-of-sale compliancy.
The proposed acquisition would enable BDS to enrich its market development, training, sales and merchandising offerings to the retail industry, said a company representative.Together, the companies have more than 40 customers in the apparel, automotive, consumer-products and consumer-technology industries. Apparel-industry clients include Puma North America Inc.
