Sixty USA
Sixty USA Suite 904 Gerry Building (213) 236-0578
After nearly three years of camping out on Los Angeles’ Westside, last month Sixty USA moved its showroom east to the Gerry Building. “We wanted to be more centrally located,” said Amy Liu, the company’s public relations manager. “We were the only showroom in our old location” on Santa Monica Boulevard, she said. Other tenants included film and television production houses. “Now we’re closer to our buyers and more convenient.”
Currently working out of temporary digs in Suite 904 of the Gerry Building, the Sixty USA showroom will move into its permanent home in Suite 901 in a few weeks. The new 2,300-square-foot showroom will carry the Italian brand’s Miss Sixty and Energie lines.
Miss Sixty, a contemporary line, features a full array of accessories, including bags, belts, jewelry, key rings and scarves. For Spring, Miss Sixty’s black leather messenger bag with grommets did well, said Cheryll Tan, Miss Sixty’s account executive. Shoes featuring the brand’s take on casual sex appeal are also carried in the showroom. Colorful wedges, knee-high cowboy boots with dyed-denim insets and stiletto heels complement the line’s sexy Spring denim.
Energie, the brand’s 21-year-old menswear line, also has a full array of accessories but does not include shoes. For Spring, the line’s accessories included military-inspired belts, leather belts with floral patterns, beaded key rings, hats, jewelry and bags.
For Fall, Miss Sixty will be offering vintage-inspired accessories, including two-toned spectator pumps and riding boots. Embellishments will include flower cutouts, leather straps and burnished buttons. —Erin Barajas
