Skechers USA Inc. promoted David Weinberg from chief financial officer to chief operating officer of the Manhattan Beach, Calif.–based footwear and apparel maker. Weinberg has been with the company for more than 12 years and will continue to serve as executive vice president and board member. The company named Fred Schneider as its new chief financial officer. Schneider currently serves as a member of the company’s board of directors and chairs its audit committee. Those positions will be taken over by Morton D. Erlich, according to the company. Schneider also serves on the boards of Sport Chalet Inc. and Meade Instruments Inc.
