Paris Blues Names New President
For more than 20 years, Jose Quant, who founded denim manufacturer Paris Blues Inc., has been the company’s president.
But on Jan. 1, Jose Quant passed the job on to Brian Kail, who joined the firm in September 2003 as senior vice president of sales. Quant will continue with the company as its chairman and chief executive officer.
Before joining Paris Blues, a $100-million-a-year blue jeans maker based in Rancho Dominguez, Calif., Kail was senior vice president of sales for Lucky Brand Jeans. Prior to joining Lucky, he was president of Bongo, another blue jeans company, for eight years.
