New Generation Signs on Blair
Warren, Pa.–based catalog house Blair is the latest company that has enlisted Miami Lakes, Fla.–based New Generation Computing’s e-SPS sourcing management system.
Blair Vice President of Merchandise Procurement Larry Vicini said the company will use s-SPS to help it monitor sourcing throughout its global manufacturing bases using NGC’s Web-based system.
NGC’s e-SPS system includes 11 software modules: e-PDM, e-RFQs and Bids, e-Pre Production, e-Production Tracking, e-Collaboration, e-Pack, e-Shipment Tracking, e-Exceptions, e-Quality, e-Reporting and Event Tracking and Management System.
Blair sells men’s and women’s apparel as well as home furnishings through mail-order and online channels. —Robert McAllister
