Falling Prices
Gasoline prices continued to decrease in the state. The average cost of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline dropped 4.9 cents during the week of Feb. 13 to $2.473 a gallon. Nationwide, the average price was $2.24 a gallon. However, rising oil prices and increasing demand could end that decline and generate a price increase at the pumps soon.
