Warner Bros. Adds to Its Apparel Line
Burbank, Calif.–based Warner Bros. Consumer Products has partnered with New York–based manufacturer Priorities to create a line of heavily distressed and embellished T-shirts, tanks, thermals and hoodies inspired by DC Comics characters.
Set to debut at the MAGIC Marketplace in Las Vegas on Feb. 21, the line features styles for women, tween girls, boys and men. The line’s first shipments are scheduled for April.
Veering away from the trend of original retro prints, the line will feature designs inspired by classic characters such as Superman, Lois Lane, Wonder Woman and Batman.
A woman’s tunic will bear Superman’s S-shield rendered in rhinestones. Other items will feature burnouts, embroidery, dye blasting and reversible prints.
The collection will be sold at Kitson in Los Angeles and will retail for $48 to $150. —Erin Barajas
